Ingredients
Group 1
2 eggs
1¾ C milk
½ C butter, melted*
2 C all-purpose flour (if self-rising, omit Group 2)
1 Tbsp sugar
Group 2 (omit if using self-rising flour)
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Directions
Beat eggs with hand beater until fluffy.
Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth.
Pour batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron.
Just shy of ¼ C per waffle
Bake until steaming stops, about 5 minutes.
Remove waffle carefully.
*may substitute vegetable oil or margarine, melted
